Thanks for having me as a guest, L.E. Just reading this reminds me of how much I loved the film. Lois Smith is a powerful actress - this is a great movie to watch over the holiday period!

It was lovely to watch her performance. She’s very likable. Thank you for writing about this movie and mentioning all the other “near-term” science fiction movies, “in which artists imagine a world with blurred distinctions between humans and machines.” I’ll have to add them to my queue 🤗

I missed this film but will certainly look for it based on your review, George. The work of Lois Smith and Geena Davis, always stunning. Almereyda's Hamlet with the fab Ethan Hawke also makes want to see this film that your recommend. --Mary

And thank you, Mary, for reminding me of Almereyda's Hamlet - I had forgotten it was the same director - quite the experience!
